They advertise that the first $20 in play is free. I would not hesitate to stay there again. We also enjoyed the food options inside the Casino Royale - we enjoyed a lovely dinner at Outback one night we picked up a pizza from Pizza Hut on our way in from an all-day tour to the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon we enjoyed White Castle for lunch one day and of course we had to try a famous foot long hot dog before we left! I would highly recommend the Casino Royale to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, convenient room with no resort fee. The Walgreen's next door was very handy for picking up snacks and water for our room. We could be from our room on the 2nd floor to the strip in a matter of a couple of minutes. The check-in and check-out processes were both very quick and easy (with a real person!). However, our room was very comfortable & clean, the shower was very nice with no shortage of hot water, we had a mini fridge & Keurig coffee maker, and the location in the center of the strip cannot be beat. If you are looking for a lodging choice that will "wow" you, this is not it. This was a bucket list trip for my dad & my main goals with my lodging choice (other than cleanliness and safety, of course!) were price, location and convenience. I recently traveled to Las Vegas with my 76-year-old father and 21-year-old niece.
